The primary goal of this project was to design and construct an evaluation board for ADI's newly developed infrared sensors to serve as a demonstration and analysis tool. To accomplish this we researched the operation of infrared thermopiles and bolometers, developed a board to interface the sensors to the PC and accompanying software, and developed a controlled source of infrared radiation. The system we developed was fully functional and met all specifications.
