PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerThe main goal for this project was to propose a design for the site at 469A Main Street in Sturbridge, MA containing a trail route connecting the proposed bridge at the Quinebaug River to the parking lot at 501 Main Street. The team collaborated with town representatives, conducted an in-depth site assessment and stormwater parking lot analysis, used programs including a GPS system to mark trail paths, ArcMap GIS for site background analysis, and AutoCAD to develop trail, picnic, and canoe launch options. Lastly, a design criteria chart was made to assess and choose the final design.
