This Major Qualifying Project is the design and implementation of an electronic shifting system for a bicycle. By examining conventional bicycle gear shifting systems and the needs of a bicyclist, an optimal shifting system was developed. A complete bicycle gear shifting system was constructed and tested on a bicycle.
