Pixel shaders for mobile devices

Public

This project identifies algorithms and programming issues with rendering computer on mobile devices. Mobile graphics are compared with desktop computer graphics to analyze the cause of these limitations. One emerging solution in commercial mobile graphic applications is pixel shading. Using pixel shading, images can be rendered with close-to-3D quality effects using fewer resources, expanding the possibilities of mobile graphics. Pixel shaders for various visual effects are implemented and tested for performance for available hardware platforms.
