The upcoming energy crisis
PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerAmerica faces a major energy supply crisis in the 21st century. Failure to address this issue will weaken our nation and handicap our everyday lifestyles. Trends show a generally increasing demand for energy across the board, particularly for natural gas and electricity. The energy regulatory structure has failed to keep pace with technology and politicians often discourage investment in desperately needed facilities. Lastly the vast mechanism of generators, transmission lines, refineries and pipelines through which we convert our raw sources into usable energy is nearly a century old. Until these problems are addressed, our energy supply will be continually at risk.
