Assessing two models to map colon cancer rates
PublicNandram et al. (1999 a,b) used several models and three measures to study all cancer and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. One of the models is surprisingly better than another one. It is desirable to investigate how well these models perform for other causes of death, and sparser data sets. For colon cancer, the three measures are applied, and then a fourth measure is developed to compare the models. One model is still preferable to the other.
