This proposal will describe the development of a pre-engineering program targeted toward high school students to be delivered via the Internet. Information gathered from the research of current industry demand for engineers along with existing engineering programs, combined with the surveying of high school students will be used to make decisions about the format of the program. It is anticipated that the program will increase student interest in engineering, as well as increase the name recognition of Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
