Health, safety and environmental practices in construction activities -- a comparison between the United States and Thailand.

open in viewerThe overall objective of this project was to make a study of the health, safety, and environmental conditions affecting Thai construction workers and to make possible recommendations for improving the Thai system. This objective was achieved by gathering information pertaining to U.S. and Thai construction laws, visiting and interviewing construction managers, and analyzing the impact of current practices on the construction workers. After having achieved these objectives, recommendations on possible methods for improvement were formulated.
