The goal of our project was to assess agriculture in the Mandi district and develop a proposal for a landrace seed bank. These landrace varieties are adapted to the region and are important to its biodiversity. Our team surveyed farming communities to understand their agricultural practices. The surveys supported the need for a landrace seed bank we proposed be established at IIT Mandi. To assist in the operation of the seed bank and educate farmers we created an App.
