The objective of this project was to develop an addendum to the regular science curriculum that would stimulate student interest. To develop this supplement, surveys were used to determine the areas of student interest. A unit of focusing on electricity was then developed, including lab activities and demonstrations. With the basic lesson plans established, an iterative system of teaching and evaluation was used to refine the teaching program. Despite the more demanding material, student participation and interest in science increased.
