Food policy council

Public

This project, conducted under the sponsorship of the office of Congressmen [sic] McGovern, provided the start up of the Worcester Food Policy Council with information on the benefits of a Food Policy Council. We researched other Food Policy Councils, interviewed members of the Worcester community that could potentially be involved, and researched studies on the problems associated with hunger, nutrition, and food supply. Using our research we provided detailed recommendations for the development of a Food Policy Council in Worcester and why it is important to develop this Council.
