open in viewerThe Colorado River has its sources in Colorado and Wyoming, and flows through the deserts of Utah, Arizona, California, to its end in Mexico. The river once ended in the waters of the Gulf of California, but dams and water withdrawals prevent the river from making that journey. People move to the Southwest because of the climate. In this project, we examined the exploitation of the Colorado River and the population growth of the Southwestern United States.
