A networked interactive real-time audio system

Public

We designed and implemented the framework for a system that could potentially enable real-time interactive distributed musical performances. As part of the design, we conducted research to confirm the latency requirements for the system and researched other real-time audio systems. The results of our experiments corroborated other findings in the field and the extensible framework that we designed was capable of session management for managing performances and inter and intra-stream synchronization via buffering. The framework is open for future modifications.
