Chandler Street corridor business and market analysis

open in viewerInner cities have faced many problems in the last half century that have resulted from post industrialization as factories that employed the inner city residents moved out. Some of the problems that resulted included unemployment, the reshaping of inner cities into less desirable places to live and many others. In order to combat these problems, revitalization strategies have been created that try to solve the very complex problems that inner cities face. These strategies have been implemented in different inner cities with varying results. This study examines some of these strategies in order to understand the differences between them, then takes aspects of them and creates a new model that would be implemented in the Chandler Street Corridor. Research objectives and a methodology are built around the implementation of these strategies in the corridor.
