Biowaste – Methane Hotspots
Public DepositedDownloadable Content
open in viewerThe improper handling of waste may lead to a buildup in biogas and, eventually, the formation of a methane hotspot. Working with our sponsor to address this problem, visualizations of methane hotspots within Armenia were created. To do this, we identified the necessary tools for visualization creation, developed the visuals, and explored feasibility analyses for methane management. Based off the findings, recommendations were made to conduct future research into methane production systems in areas of high methane concentrations.
