The Rogowski coil current transducer

Public

The goal of our project was to investigate the Rogowski coil current transducer and its' effectiveness as an accurate measurement device over a wide bandwidth. Theoretical investigation addresses the effect of coil location versus the current carrying conductor, as well as the design of the integrator. Modeling and experimental results show that for the frequency range of 30 to 3000 Hz and for eccentricities less than 50% the error ratio is less than 2%.
