Assessing Critical Infrastructure in Puerto Rico's Coastal Zone
ÖffentlichHerunterladbarer Inhalt
open in viewerSome of Puerto Rico's critical infrastructure may not be structurally fit to withstand the effects of climate change such as sea level rise, coastal erosion, storm surge and tsunamis. In an attempt to reduce the dangers of climate change, our group worked in conjunction with our sponsor, the Department of Natural and Environmental Resources (DNER), to assess critical infrastructure in Puerto Rico's coastal zone. The goal of our project was to provide the DNER with insight into which infrastructure was most susceptible to the hazards of climate change and variability.
