My teaching practicum at South Community High School was the final step to acquiring my teaching license following teaching classes and pre-practicum experiences. I began by observing how my mentor teacher teaches and within the first few weeks, I began to take on more responsibility in the classroom, eventually becoming the lead teacher for all five algebra classes. My Eportfolio represents a small glimpse into what I experienced during my time student teaching. It shows the reader some of the various challenges I have grown from to develop proficiency in each of the seven CAP elements, and it gives information about Educational Policy and the Worcester Public Schools District. There is also a folder of teaching materials and resources I used throughout my practicum. I would like to thank my supervising practitioner, Dan Brown, and my program supervisor, Gary Ward, for the support they gave me while I was student teaching.
