Design of a simulation platform for performance evaluation of indoor geolocation systems

Public

The purpose of this MQP was to design a simulation platform for performance evaluation of an indoor geolocation system. It involved estimating the location of a receiver using several transmitters. The project group designed a software to stimulate the transceivers using the Ray Tracing software and MATLAB algorithms. In addition to traditional time of arrival, phase of arrival and power were used for estimating the location of the receiver along with the effects of bandwidth, background noise, and walls.
