Traffic within Wimbledon Town Centre has increased to a problematic level. The goal of this project, conducted for the London Borough of Merton, Wimbledon's governing body, was to recommend ways to decrease automobile use for short trips to Wimbledon Town Centre. Through collecting information from shoppers, business owners and managers, and concerned citizens, we developed several recommendations for the Borough of Merton and a follow-up study to determine the success of any recommendations implemented.
