A Miniaturized optical glucose measurement device
ÖffentlichThis report outlines the design and fabrication of a prototype ear compression device that will serve as the fundamental mechanical component for an existing non-invasive blood glucose measurement instrument. The ear squeeze mechanism was redesigned to incorporate a linear actuator as opposed to a stepper motor. This made the design simpler and smaller with a minimum amount of moving parts. This device contributes to the long-term goal of developing a portable non-invasive device to be used by diabetic individuals.
