A microscale mass-flow measuring system

Public

This project designed an experimental setup for measuring mass-flow rates as small as 10?? kg/s using the pressure-decay method. The flow system is designed to deliver nitrogen through a series of filters to a cylinder, which is then isolated and exhausted in a manner that allows pressure measurements. The pressure-decay method and uncertainty analysis were derived and implemented in a computer code. The flow system was integrated and tested using a real-time data acquisition program implemented in LabVIEW.
