Thermal analysis and design of the WPI PANSAT

Public

The purpose of this project was to create a thermal model, to be used in the configuration of subsystem thermal properties, of the PANSAT, WPI's entry in the AFRL University Nanosat student design competition. A finite element model of the satellite structure and subsystems was created, and using Thermal Desktop, RadCAD and SINDA, the thermal behavior of the satellite was quantified for use in selection of material thermal properties and for future analysis.
