Active queue management performance analysis

Public

This project reconfirms the performance of a new network router congestion control algorithm, Proportional Integrator with Short-lived Flow Adjustments (PISA), via a series of NS-2 simulations. The simulation experiments, run over a variety of traffic flow combinations of long-lived FTP and short-lived HTTP flows, demonstrate that PISA yields significantly more HTTP web objects transmitted and fairer treatment for the HTTP flows when compared to the performance of the Proportional Integrator algorithm.
