Math Support for Elementary School Teachers
PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerThis interdisciplinary team developed a mathematics problem set to be used in future professional development for elementary school teachers. The need for this problem set comes from the low passing rate of the Massachusetts's new teaching licensure test. This problem set covers most of the material for the new licensure test. The set also incorporates science and technology standards that are already being taught in the classroom. We hope that the integration of math and science will prompt teachers to think of math as a real world tool and not a set of facts.
