Sustainability has been a dominant paradigm, but regenerative action focuses on human- nature connections to help regrow the planet. Promentum’s Center for Regenerative Transformation helps organizations reach their regenerative potential and our team assisted Promentum to develop methods to work with clients. We participated in nature-based programs and interviewed figures in the regeneration field. We found eight themes that encompass regeneration: human-nature connection, self-realization journey, arts and culture, place-based, co-creation, education, process-oriented, and technology. We created an Individual-Based Regenerative Transformation Model using these themes. We recommend this model supplement Promentum’s organization-based models along with workshops for clients.
