open in viewerCentro Nacional de Produccion mas Limpia seeks to establish a recycling plan for cellular phones and batteries in Costa Rica. This project had four goals: researching worldwide efforts in reducing e-waste, estimating the size of an effective recycling program, identifying key stakeholders in a recycling program, and proposing a model to reduce cellular waste in Costa Rica. By analyzing data from interviews, questionnaires, and archival research, we concluded that a recycling plan is feasible and have proposed an implementation scheme.
