The Tutor System project involves the design and development of a tutoring system that can supplement traditional manufacturing training. This system presents problem scenarios that can occur on the job, monitors the students' progress, and guides the students in diagnosing and fixing problems. This system consists of: 1) an authoring tool for trainers to build problem scenarios and solution paths, 2) a subsystem for students to view and solve the problems, and 3) a grading/monitoring system.
