Modeling the Microbiome

Public Deposited

The intestinal microbiome is highly complex, and it is linked with the stability and health of biological structures throughout the host’s body. Utilizing previous lab data and research, this project improved and constructed new features for an Agent-Based model simulating host-microbe interactions between C. elegans and pathogenic yeast. After comparing and observing images and data collected in vivo, the computational model was tweaked and redesigned to further improve biological accuracy and complexity.
