Gompei’s Goat Cheese (GGC) is a non-profit, student-run business at WPI that supports student scholarships and teaches students how to apply entrepreneurial skills. The goal of this project was to begin development of a cloud-based enterprise resource planning system for Gompei’s Goat Cheese to improve and grow operations. From interviews with key stakeholders, we developed a set of system requirements to create a system that would fit the specific needs of GGC. The foundation we provided has been designed to support GGC with benefits such as improved transparency, centralized order and invoice tracking, and more effective communication with their partner farm.
