This document, the second phase of two Major Qualifying Projects, is the proposed structural design of an undergraduate upperclassmen residence hall at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. An earlier MQP designed the layout of the building and this document details the placement and size of the building's structural components. This MQP also includes the design of the building's special features including a pedestrian footbridge. All structural design was completed using Load and Resistance Factor Design methods and computer modeling.
