Project-Based Learning-to-Go: Fog Net & Biomimicry Curriculum for High School Students

open in viewerThe goal of this project was to create a project-based learning curriculum around the premise of building fog water collection nets for the Berber minority in the Anti-Atlas Mountains of Morocco and using biomimicry as inspiration for the net design. The goal of this curriculum is to get more women and students from underrepresented backgrounds interested in the field of engineering. The curriculum was developed and reviewed by professionals in the field, though implementation needs to be done to evaluate its efficacy.
