Ongoing Advancement of the Physics Toolbox

open in viewerTo further enhance the educational experience in the physics department new laboratories and learning tools are being introduced. These brand new ideas for laboratory experiment presentation as well as learning through simulations such as videos and applets have been put in place with an eye to the needs of non-physics students by non-physics students. Having a team of students with majors outside of the physics department provides a new perspective to the design process. This approach has the potential to help non-physics students gain a desire to become more involved in a laboratory setting, which in turn will increase their understanding of the material. -
