Security is an important issue in wireless networks. In this project an additional line of security is added to the current wireless LAN authentication protocol by verifying a mobile device's location information while processing its network access request. A software package called Ekahau is used to track the mobile device's location dynamically and the authentication protocol is implemented in Java. The two systems are integrated together to implement the prototype of the designed location-aware authentication protocol.
