Semantic web

Public

This project designed and built a demonstration of a browsing assistant application using Semantic Web technology. A user can browse web pages that include computer readable semantic annotations, causing an intelligent agent to trigger inferences. Those inferences produce suggestions for the user about useful additional topics to browse. The inferences are enabled by a user model that records browsing activity. The semantic annotations are supported by an ontology. The performance is evaluated and a discussion of its potential utility is presented.
