During my semester-long teaching practicum at Worcester Technical High School in Worcester, MA, I collaborated with Tefta Giaya in High School Introductory Physics. This immersive experience honed my pedagogical skills, priming me for licensure as a High School science educator in Massachusetts. Guided by the Comprehensive Assessment of Practices (CAP) framework, I meticulously addressed the seven foundational elements: Subject Matter Knowledge, Structured Units and Lessons, Adjustments to Practice, Meeting Diverse Needs, Safe Learning Environment, High Expectations, and Reflective Practice. Central to my approach is the cultivation of students' social and emotional well-being through tailored classroom interactions. For a detailed account of my practicum journey, delve into my Eportfolio via the QR code provided.
