The Motivations of Social Tuning: Perspective Taking and Affiliative Motivation
PublicTwo experiments were conducted to understand the role in perspective taking to social tuning. Experiment 1 focused on if perspective taking led to social tuning, while Experiment 2 focused on how perspective taking relates into the affiliative motivation and social tuning model. Experiment 1 results suggest that perspective taking does lead into social tuning. In Experiment 2, results only suggest significance between affiliative motivation and social tuning, no other relatable significant was found.
