However, the large amount of information shared on these networks has become a privacy concern. The privacy settings for OSNs can be difficult to understand, especially for novice users. This project investigates the privacy settings for a popular OSN, Facebook. Part of the project involves development of Privacy Helper, an application that can be run from inside Facebook and that helps users understand the intricacies of their privacy settings.
