The purpose of this IQP is to create a trading system using the TradeStation platform based around the MAGNET Simple Scanner and daily bars. The scanner tells a user which stocks have the potential to breakout, however it does not tell a trader when to enter or exit a market. Thus, the value added by this project is characterized by the determination of successful entries and exits through the studies done.
