Student Work

The Worcester Trial Courthouse

Public

This project analyzes the project management of the early phases of the construction of the Worcester Trial Courthouse building. The study was conducted through visiting the job site, attending subcontractor meetings, and visiting and talking with professional project team members. The computer programs Revit and Primavera were used to prepare a cost estimate and schedules related to the concrete work for the building foundation. Also, based on the actual soil conditions encountered in a section of the building, spread footings were designed as an alternative to pressure injected footings.
