Heterogeneous classes may inhibit the education of academically gifted students. This project answers the questions: Does the use of computers challenge the academically talented and does it help them acquire higher cognitive levels? Using surveys and pre/post-evaluations, we found that combination of computers and lectures challenged the academically talented by increasing their performance and enhancing their cognitive levels.
