Geometric-based 3D Game Engine
PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerThis project describes the development of Polygove, a game engine created with JavaScript. Its structure is based on the Dragonfly game engine, but differs in its display technology, which employs WebGL 3D graphics instead of Dragonfly’s ASCII text graphics. The engine was evaluated by using it to implement a sample game. Its performance was measured and compared to other popular 3D engines that employ similar technologies. Test results revealed the need to improve Polygove’s performance by addressing memory leak issues.
