Design of a six-legged walking robot

The purpose of this project is to design and build a prototype of a six-legged walking robot. We researched previously constructed robots to become familiar with the field of mobile robotics. Using that knowledge we experimented with different kinds designs for our own robot. After selecting a final design, we went through the process of selecting the materials, components, motors and battery. We proceeded to build and test a prototype of the robot. After testing the robot we made recommendations for improvements and identified areas of further study.
