Tower Bridge Repository

open in viewerAs a listed historic building and visitor attraction, Tower Bridge is in need of a centralized digital repository to better manage the assets used in its interpretation, educational activities, marketing, and operation. This project assisted Tower Bridge to identify and implement a searchable, scalable, Spectrum compliant, and secure collections management system (CMS), intended initially for internal use. Our group conducted key informant interviews, surveyed Tower Bridge staff, and used online resources to identify important criteria and options for a CMS. Using our findings on potential systems, Tower Bridge chose CollectionsIndex+. We provided recommendations and training videos for CollectionsIndex+, setting the foundation for future exhibitions and increased public engagement.
