Disconnection in the Games Community at WPI
Public DepositedDownloadable Content
open in viewerThe goal of this project was to get a sense of the community around games and game development at WPI and why it was so disconnected. After considering our options, we decided to conduct a survey to gauge students’ knowledge of, access to, and membership in games-related groups. We found that half of students wish they could participate more in the games community than they currently do. Thus, the primary barriers of schoolwork and scheduling conflicts must be addressed in order to address the disconnect in the community.
