Sensors for Autonomous Systems
PúblicoContenido Descargable
open in viewerThis Major Qualifying Project seeks to develop a functional scale model of a fully autonomous ferry. Using sensory systems commonly found in autonomous vehicles, we developed an autonomous surface vehicle capable of avoiding obstacles while traveling between docks as well as docking without any human input. We believe that the development of a fully autonomous ferry could help the marine industry as a whole move towards a safer and more autonomous future.
