Engineering Experimentation Module Designs
PublicDownloadable Content
open in viewerThis paper proposes a self-contained modularized alternative to the engineering experimentation course (ME3901) at WPI and offers example modules utilizing various sensor types with an inexpensive microcontroller. A framework was developed for modules that have a unified structure that can be individually adapted and changed to create a course that highlights desired sensors, how they function, how to configure them with the microcontroller and a working code. This proposal is a test basis for a new course.
