Examining Shifts in Beekeepers’ Seasonal Perspectives and Practices in Hong Kong
Öffentlich DepositedAs climate change persists as a global issue, its effects are changing the environment in Hong Kong. This project as a continuation of the CALENDARS Project, is a qualitative investigation of beekeepers’ perceptions of seasonal changes in Hong Kong to better understand the effects of climate change on the beekeeping community. Through in-person interviews, our group was able to collect and analyse qualitative beekeeping and climate observations to describe beekeeping seasons within a year. This purpose was also to identify what challenges beekeepers are facing and how they adapt. Key outputs of our project include calendar visualisation tool for qualitative data and ArcGIS StoryMap educational reference.
