Creating an Energy Waste-Free Tomorrow at WPI

open in viewerThis research paper was created to help increase the overall engagement of the WPI campus in energy conservation. The project was carried out through various medians such as literature review, interviews, and surveys. This brought the project team to the conclusion that members of the community were uninformed about sustainability initiatives or organizations and had little free time or motivation to actively participate in energy conservation. This then led us to create a set of recommendations that could help mitigate this issue. These recommendations range from the creation of a new outdoor space on campus to creating a new sustainability standard through training modules. All four of the proposed recommendations plan to create an “energy waste-free tomorrow at WPI.”
- This report represents the work of one or more WPI undergraduate students submitted to the faculty as evidence of completion of a degree requirement. WPI routinely publishes these reports on its website without editorial or peer review.
