FPGA implementation of an OFDM modem

Public

This work involved the rapid prototyping of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) hardware for a Citizens Bank (CB) radio modem involving Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing (OFDM) techniques for maximizing digital data throughput, and instantiated using Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA). This process was facilitated through exploration of a new design paradigm in the development of integrated architectures, using System Generator software (XIilinx/The Mathworks), which requires no Hardware Description Language (HDL) code to produce complex digital systems with minimal design time.
